What’s in a Probate Record and How to Use it for Genealogical Research

Probate records are some of the most valuable historical records for genealogical research. This class covers some of the basics of research using probate records. It is possible to use probate records to find some most difficult historical information such as women’s maiden names, missing children, difficult or unusual family relationships and other equally puzzling problems. Take some time to learn some of the basics and begin to use probate records.
