Introducing My China Roots: A new database available at the BYU Family History Library

Thursday, September 19
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Presented by Clotilde Yap

Join Clotilde Yap as she provides a demo of My China Roots, the leading Chinese genealogy database for persons of Chinese heritage, now available to BYU students and faculty. The database features Chinese exclusion records, family tree books (jiapu), tombstones, and various Chinese community records from North America to Southeast Asia. Participants will learn about key challenges in Chinese family history, what kind of resources are available on My China Roots, and how to search the database.

This session will not be live and will be pre-recorded; if you'd like Clotilde to answer any specific questions during this talk, please email your questions in advance to clotildeyap@mychinaroots.com.
