Flatbed Scanners-Epson 12000XL (Station #40-41)

Epson12000XL

Use For

High resolution scanning of slides, negatives, print photographs, and documents. Good for when you want to use the digital images to make high quality prints.

Instructions for Use

  • Reserve this scanner.
  • Bring a USB flash drive or external hard drive to save your files.
  • This scanner has the ability to apply color restoration to images when scanning. This makes the colors on the digital image reflect more of the true colors of the original image, and removes such things as red, blue, or yellow tint common to old slides or print photos.
  • Due to the high resolution and editing abilities this scanner has, it takes longer to scan than other scanners. For example, it will take about 1 min 20 seconds per slide at the recommended DPI. Scanning print photos will also take longer than on the sheet feed photo scanners.
