Use For

Scanning large amounts of paper documents.

Instructions for Use

  • Reserve this scanner.
  • Bring a USB flash drive to save your files.
  • Ensure your documents are not fragile, as they are fed through the machine at a quick rate.
  • When scanning documents, staples, paperclips, or other fasteners must be removed.
  • Paper must be clean, free of any tape or glue, and should be flat (not torn or dog eared) to avoid damaging the machine or your documents.
  • Documents should be scanned in batches of the same size and weight paper.
  • This scanner can remove 3 hole punches or binding marks.
  • It can also scan both the front and back of documents with the duplex setting.
  • The two scanners in the library have different software on their computers. If you need some of the advanced features of the scanners, you can ask the help desk for assistance in choosing which of the scanners you should use.
  • These scanners are not suitable for scanning photos.
