Service Notes: He was only 20 years old when he served as a navigator aboard a B-24 Liberator bomber during World War II. Flying dangerous missions over enemy territory, he carried the tremendous responsibility of guiding his crew through hostile skies and safely toward their target and home again. At just 20 years old, his life ended somewhere over the skies of Germany while serving his country.
