Service Notes: He was a 23 year old fighter pilot assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Princeton during World War II. While on a flight from the Naval Air Station, San Diego, he disappeared and never returned. Despite searches and efforts to determine what had happened, he remained missing, his fate somewhere beyond the California coast.
